Grants for International Study at Canadian Mennonite University in Canada 2022

Entry is currently open to all international applicants who wish to begin master’s degree studies in Canada at the Canadian Mennonite University.

Canadian Mennonite University’s Graduate School of Theology and Ministry is pleased to offer this scholarship to deserving candidates who wish to begin their studies for the academic year 2022–2023.

Canadian Mennonite University was established in 1999 and is a private Mennonite institution with its headquarters in Manitoba, Canada. With majors in 19 topics and pre-professional studies in about 26 subjects, CMU provides four bachelor’s and graduate degrees.

Entrance Requirements: Applicants must meet the university’s admission requirements in order to be considered for admission.

The following tests must be taken by international applicants whose first language is not English to prove their English language proficiency:

Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL): For the paper-based, computer-based, and Internet-based versions of the TOEFL, the minimum scores are 550, 213 and 80 respectively.
CanTest, the Canadian Test of English for Scholars and Trainees, requires a minimum reading and listening score of 4.5 and a speaking and writing score of 4.0.
IELTS, or the International English Language Testing System: depending on the Academic Training track, a minimum score of 6.5.
To prove their proficiency in the English language, students can take the Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic). A computer-based academic English language proficiency test called PTE Academic is used to gauge students’ reading, writing, speaking, and listening abilities in a classroom setting. Canadian Mennonite University requires a PTE Academic score of at least 59.
