2022 University of Gloucestershire PhD Studentships Grants in UK

For the academic year 2022–2023, the University of Gloucestershire is soliciting applications for PhD studentships and study grants in the UK.

Two full-time MA by Research or PhD Studentships in English Literature, English Language, or Creative Writing will be given out by the University of Gloucestershire in 2022.

The University of Gloucestershire offers a PhD by publishing program as well as MA by Research programs in the following areas: Ecolinguistics, Creative Writing, Crime Fiction, LGBTQ+ Perspectives in Fiction, Children’s and Young Adult Literature, Travel Writing, Poetry, and the Environment.

Students must submit a resume and a research proposal outlining their study as supporting documents.

Benefits of the Scholarship: The University of Gloucestershire will cover the whole cost of the home tuition for the chosen candidates’ first year of postgraduate study.

Entry Requirements: For the MA by Research and PhD programs, candidates must have a BA (Hons) in English, English Literature, or Creative Writing with a minimum GPA of 2:1 or equivalent, or a master’s degree in a comparable field.
The following English language proficiency exams’ results must be submitted by the students:
